Heh, good to see people using my little util Smile

I've been working on a new version, now it recurses through subdirectories, and it can also guess at what VST plugins you are using (it is guesswork though, currently this seems to work for all versions of Polac's, as well as the last RnZn...nL loaders). Click here to get it. As with the prev version, run it from a DOS box or command prompt. Report bugs please.

Oh, and here's my count.

hey, maccount is great.
good to hear you're working on a new one.
i have a suggestion for a feature:
could you rig it to take inventory on just one song?
sometimes i want to let people know what machines are in a song when i post it to buzzmusic. right now i have an empty folder and i stick a copy of the song in, run maccount, then delete the song next time i want to inventory a new song.......
i know there's another app that inventories just one song, but it doesn't output to a text file.
anyways, just a suggestion.

peace

try again
http://web.hibo.no/~mva/utils/Buzzscan_v10.zip

run buzzscan.exe over your .bmx
hit 'packall'
look into the archive it creates, there is a 'analysis.txt' there..

with mach info/counts

WTF indeed. I also noticed this in the same file:

Quote:

Looks like it could be a corrupt bmx (or a bug, of course). Try this version, which should tell you which particular file is causing problems.

It was a few versions of an old corrupted bmx I'd tried to fix. I saw it right away from the filename affixes...
But at least now you can scan for corrupted bmxes Dance
