Okay, I have the stealth pack and it has the overloader or whatever on it. The problem is that when I go to the Extended HD recorder because I want to encode in a high bitrate like 24 or whaterver, and when I go to "select HD plugin", the list is blank. Is there some sort of setup I was supposed to do? Do I have to download the plugs separate? Or is the stealth pack just missing these for some reason.
Oh yeah, and a separeate qusetionator: What are theose drumkits on buzzmachine for? what is the plugin? |

You have to use the "Overloader Output Extensions" driver, found in View -> Preferences -> Wave Output. After you've chosen the OOE driver from the dropdown box hit "Apply" to initialize the driver, then "Config" to tell OOE which audio driver it should use - ASIO/DX/whatever you've been using up until now - and configure that driver as you best see fit.
Of course, you have to check that the folder Gear\Recorders contains some files (which should be the case since you do seem to have OL installed).

| seems that there is no gear/recorders folder at all. The stealth pack is a little bit too stealthy. Maybe I should try intalling the overloader myself. |

While you're at it...why not try the newest version?

| Okay, heres what happened. This whole time Ive been using buzz I thought I had the overloader intalled but I didn't, There were all sorts of files in buzz that said overloader on them so I thought I had it. I guess it was just partially installed on there. Within the stealth pack I had 1.5m so I just installed that, now it works fine! kind of strange. Is 1.5m the latest? guess I will check it myself. Thnx 4 da hlp! |

If you know your alphabet well, you'll see that N comes after M _________________ last.fm discogs |

Yeah, i saw that....
anyways, another related question. I have a huge problem with one of my songs now. I installed the 1.5m overloader half the way through, didn't cause any problems. when I was finished I saved, then recorded it with the extended HD recorder (wav recorder). Then I quit without saving. Oops, I meant to save in a different format... so I went back to do so, loaded the song up in the same state it was in right before I recorded it the first time, and there was no sound. I soon realized that , the time elapsed clock was moving but the actual position of the song wasn't. Am I screwed? Anybody know what could have happened? |

I fixed my old problem a while ago, but I have a new one. The damned Extended HD recorder does not work right. Half the time, it spits out a .wav file completly unreadable by anything. I encode in 32 bit. What could be causing this? I saw a similar topic on buzzmachines but it didn't solve the problem. It doesn't happen as much with smaller snippets. Does the buffer size or anything have anything to do with this?
-Oh yeah, other quikie: Should I dither before using CnG recorder? |
