Heh...seems like buzzformat.com isn't dead after all: http://web.hibo.no/~mva/board.php?p=40399.
Anyway...I installed that newest OL and found some neat new splash screens coming along with it...
So, the question is simple: anyone know how to "activate" them?

if you install it they should automatically show up if you are using xp/2000

Instead of the normal loading splash (it should appear after "loading machines")
It used to work here, but it doesn't any more (cyanphase said it could have something to do with changing my screen res, and that he was working on jpg and png support for splashes too)

OK...so it's not working for me...
This leaves me confused with yet another question: where would I even define which splash screen to use in the first place? There must be some line to be added to one of the .ini files/the registry/somewhere else...

Place splashes in a folder located at %buzzroot%\tools\splashes\ and Overloader will randomly choose from whatever images are in there.

allso you should add, if you want to set just one or use your own.... take out the other files out of that folder. and leave your own or just one.

That one is really cool 
Btw: it seems Cyanphase was correct, if you switch desktop dimensions (in my case: going from a one-monitor setup to a two-monitor-setup) and then BACK, the splash screens will not be shown any longer...
