effects > wave output. right click on the machine, choose your chans (1 and 2 are taken by the master always). If they're not all there, play around with your drivers. that's all. you need one waveout machine per channel.

Ooh, a rather more elegant solution than I imagined. Now all we need is some sort of surround sound panner plugin (Kazuya JC-4 seems almost cut out for the job)...

I remember Jacob Carstens (ohm) was working on a surround mixer at one point. This was ages ago, back in Jan/Feb 2003. I don't know if it ever got finished. I tried it out at the time and it was pretty cool, but I can't get it to work anymore for some reason.

There is one but i haven't talked to the dev in some time.. You can get it on IRC/EFNET #buzz. Before it existed (even though it's still beta and eventually I moved on to something else) I used cheapo amps with peer controls - for the envelope. Kind of a pain setting up.

... when my stereo died, i treated myself to a 5.1 sytem from ALDI. surround IS nice. and buzzing in quadrophonia would ROCK... but i already know i'm a nerd. ^^
