"Hidden" machines will appear in the Instruments/Unsorted or Effects/Unsorted branch of your index.
Buzz does not automatically update anything.
If you misplace a machine, it can cause crashes in a variety of ways, so you better don't _________________ wayfinder |

| if you have only one effect or one generator with the same "first word" (e.g. the "first word" is usually the developer's name) in the filename, then it doesn't appear in index for some reason... I had this problem with a machine i made, and spent a long time trying to solve it before i realised the problem was with Buzz. So if a developer has only made one machine, that machine probably won't show up in your index (cos I'm not sure if it affects 100% of users). You could trick Buzz into "seeing" it by making a copy with a similar filename (as long it has the same first word). |

I thought this also had something to do with a dot or a comma in the name... _________________ wayfinder |
