in psycle, when you change the tpb from the default 4, to 8, the highlighted ticks cange, so you can still easily tell where the next beat is. i havn't found a way toget this to happen in buzz (ie, when you change it to tpb=8, it still looks like it does when it's tpb=4 .
this is really annoying/confusing. what do most people here do? just use tpb=4 ? or do you just get used to it?

Yeah, I'm used to it. Virtually every tracker highlights at 4 by default and a lot aren't adjustable. Just count your blessings that patterns can have arbitrary lengths. Smile

I would really love to be able to alter the highlighting willy-nilly, though. zTracker is good for that. Actuaaaaaaaaaaaaly -- zTracker + Buzz is a viable option.

Just wait until you start doing stuff in 6 or 12 TPB. Or stuff in 5/4 or 7/4 or just about any non-standard division you could possibly think of. That'll probably confuse the hell out of you Razz

But that's just for storing the step value in the sequencer view...
