I'll just put my machines in 1 thread
Shing
Shing is an effect based on the good ol Karpluss n' Strong algorythm, with some homebrew mangling. As you can see it has lots of "feedback" parameters, and it is of the utmost sonic instability.
I have tried to guard the exterior world from the feedbacks by introducing various clipping methods to keep them in control, but I fear they will eventually break loose, causing widespread panic and chaos.
It is also somewhat mean with CPUs, but that's because it does lots of things (I did my best to optimize everything, I'll see if i can do more).
My advice if you want to survive the feedback apocalypse ? Keep the last 5 parameters close to zero ! |

This has some nice potential for some messed up idm percussion. Thanks for the great machine. _________________ Check out my group "Jeskola Buzz Buzzers" on facebook

Great fx, sort of resonator, usually, i make these sort of sounds with short delays saturations , but more accuracy for frequencies with your effect.
Many sweet dirty sounds, but also nice metalic textures or granular things.
I've don't try, but i imagine the chain intestine shing will be terrific. |

Thanks alot! These are both very nice machines. Very experimental and intresting, just like good buzz machines.
With Shing i can make instant Brian Eno Music for Airports stuff. |

Thank you all ! Indeed, white noise's harmonic delay is what inspired me to add note input. And if you like this machine, you should also try Geonik's DF Filter.
I'll probably just change the way the X transfers work (currently too high-strung), then maybe put it on buzzmachines and one day work on the super-freaky brother of Harmonic delay and Shing with :
- Some sort of dynamics processing (as well as the current distortions) inside the feedback loops
- Scalable amount of delay lines like harmonic delay does it !
- Spew forth foul sounds, intercept alien transmissions |

Cool machines, shing and intestine. Thanks.
Bug? Seems that when I add a track for shing and play with note values in a pattern, invariably it stops putting out a signal after a while. Will try to narrow it down to something easily reproducible.
EDIT: note-length param data saved when song saved / but sliders don't reflect changes made in patterns. |
